The very first concert that I ever emceed for the radio station for Robin Mark - you know the worship leader from Northern Ireland.

But, if there's any take away I got from the show, it was actually what he shared from the Bible.

Numbers 6:24-26 is a famous passage - it was God's blessing for priests and can now be applied to all believers: “The Lord bless you and keep you; the Lord make his face shine upon you and be gracious to you; the Lord turn his face toward you and give you peace.”

I've always kind of been baffled by that phrase "The Lord make his face shine upon you." God's face is the embodiment of his character and it shining on you gives that character expression and new life.

This is an amazing reality, but can you picture it?

Robin Mark put it this way, 'God's face shining upon you is Him looking down and smiling.' Not a forced smile for the sake of a picture, but a genuine, natural smile.

God smiles because He love you, and He knows you love Him, and you live for Him.
