A Closer Look
Culture At A Crossroads
Episode 13
Scott Jackson is a business owner, author, artist manager, and public speaker, but all of these stem out of his first love as a radio guy. Jackson is on the show to talk radio and what led to him starting what is now a leading Canadian Christian radio station at LIFE 100.3 in Barrie, ON.
From starting in Peterborough, ON as a keen student only to not be put on the air to moving his family all the way to Saskatchewan for what would be dismal experience with management, Jackson has seen it all in the radio world.
He has worked in markets from Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan to Nashville, Tennessee. He's done formats up and down the dial including oldies, AC, CHR, Classic Rock, and Ez Rock.
Along the way, Jackson and his wife gave their lives to Jesus and eventually the idea dawned on him to combine his faith and experience in Christian radio. Don't miss how the idea of Life 100.3 became a reality, and why his secular radio experience was so valuable for creating a relevant Christian radio station. Plus, Jackson's thoughts on the impact that radio has and could continue to have in spreading the gospel in Canada.
